Creativity and beauty are deeply central to the foundation of all things, God Himself being the source of both realities. 
We are called to experience God sensually—through sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell. We are to taste and see that He is good (Ps. 34:8) and gaze upon His beauty (Ps. 27:4). Jesus became flesh and we are to reach out to Him with both faith and doubt (Mk. 5:25-34 and John 20:24-29), listening for His voice (Heb. 3:15), and being a sweet aroma to God in Christ (2Co. 2:15).
God has blessed Cornerstone with an extraordinarily diverse blend of artists: musicians, poets, painters, sculptors, builders, workers of fabric and thread, chefs, singers, speakers, and others.
When we create beauty, we are joining God in His beautifully creative work; we join His revelation of Himself in all His originality and uniqueness.
Cornerstone recognizes that artists need both broad freedom for creativity as well as life-giving structure for accountability. Creativity is like a powerful, raging river; accountability like riverbanks. If there is no freedom, the river is dry and lifeless; if there is no structure, the river turns into a destructive flood. Artists at Cornerstone are called to create art that exists not for itself, but for the sake of the artist’s Creator—to pour it out lavishly so that God’s glory may be increased.

Is there such a thing as sacred and secular art? Why or why not?
Can God speak through non-Christians?
What defines “good” art from “bad” art?
